Privacy and analytics
APT Atlas uses account information to sign you in, maintain your profile, and control authorized administration. Saved research views and saved actors are stored locally in your browser.
Optional first-party analytics
Analytics records public page paths, external referrer hosts, country, campaign tags, and a random browser identifier. Page query strings are not stored as part of page paths. New analytics events do not store raw IP addresses, city, region, precise coordinates, or UTM content. IP addresses are used transiently to apply abuse limits; only a keyed, time-limited digest is stored for that purpose.
Browser identifiers and campaign attribution expire after 90 days. The daily retention job removes analytics events older than 90 days. Older records collected before this change may include IP and geographic fields until they expire. Hosting and authentication providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Optional analytics is on in this browser. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are also respected.
Feedback and source material
Submitted feedback includes your message, page, browser user agent, and your account identifier when signed in. Do not put passwords or other secrets in feedback. Public actor profiles cite external research and may contain uncertain or disputed attribution.
